Well hello there! It has been so long since I've written on this, but I can't say I regret taking a (very long) break. I was looking through my old posts and apart from them being horrific quality (I reverted most of them to drafts. I couldn't help it.) they are really not me. And I'm not saying then I didn't know who I was or something I'm just saying I was trying to be someone that I am not. Not in drastic or even noticeable ways, just from memories I have of writing those posts and how I was thinking/feeling at the time. Maybe this makes no sense and maybe it does but overall I just want to say 1. sorry for disappearing 2. please forgive me 3. this site will be completely different to how it's ever been 4. I am excited 5. do you like my make-shift makeover of the layout? 6. I'm planning on posting every saturday morning 7. this blog is now going to mainly focus on fashion & general life topics/events/thoughts,(but I promise it'll be totally sarcastic and I will include the least I can of cringe-worthy deep stuff). And maaaaybe sometimes I'll post a short story or poem etc. But that's unlikely. Those things are too comfortable in my journal.

(Side note: can this be a thing I do now? Put random cool photos in various places throughout posts, however unrelated they are to the post itself? I like it).
So. I guess this is officially the last day of summer. I am so sad for it to be over but I had a really great summer & I'm grateful and glad to have it in my memory. Highlights include: visiting my brother in Washington DC, being happy with my GCSE results, spending time with my friends, staying in Dublin with my cousin Becca for a week, Becca sleeping over/coming to my house too much, us watching various horror movies/tv shows and freaking out, going to a baseball game in America, trying Chipotle for the first time (God I miss that place), going to Kerry, and of course, watching all seasons of Gossip Girl in an unhealthy amount of time. My instagram can provides illustration for most of these events.(✿◠‿◠)
Hm...I don't think I have much else to say for this post so I guess this is good bye & I promise a cool post this saturday morning. And by cool I mean if you consider someone venting all their overly-sarcastic thoughts on various things to be cool.
P.S. I can't decide on a URL. my first idea was clothesandcorruption which i liked the sound of but I quite like this one too... please comment and advise me!
